Do you think my friend has feelings for me? I need some advice?

We have been friends for a while and I have liked him a lot for about 3 months. We text a lot and he uses lots of winks in his messages. We flirt and joke around. He tells me a lot about his family life (he has lots of family issues) and we talk about deep stuff like that. The homecoming dance was a few weeks ago. He asked this other girl to the dance. but my friend who knows I like him asked him if he has a date to homecoming (she did this so that he would ask me to homecoming lol) and he said that he had already asked someone. He seemed kinda sad about that lol. Long story short, he said that he reallyy wanted to ask me to the dance but he always sees me talking to this other guy (my best friend who I don't have any feelings for) and he thought we had a "thing". When my friend told the guy I like that I would love to go with him, his face lit up and he had a huge smile. He told my friend that I should definitely come to homecoming cuz he wants to dance with me. Unfortunately, I couldn't go to the dance:( The other day, my parents went to my brother's basketball game and the guy I like (he plays basketball on varsity) looked at my parents for a while and my mom said that it seemed like he was making the connection that we are related. Yesterday at a football game, he was standing with that girl he asked to homecoming and then he walked over to me and talked to me for over 20 minutes until we both had to leave. he stood really close to me and was really friendly. He has asked me to hang out with him a few times but it never works out because he has to take care of his siblings (he has a huge family and has a single mom). The other day, I gave him my phone charger because his broke and he texted me that night "youre the best!!!;))" and today he was telling me how much he likes my name!! I like him sooooo much. hes the nicest guy I've ever met. We know each other really well. What should I do? Do you think he likes me too? Thanks!!!:)
